Outside Weddings with Weddings in Ontario
Our Officiants are licensed to perform wedding ceremonies in Ontario by the Registrar General.
To Book a wedding or other clergy services, we will need:
1. The date of the event
2. The time of day the event is to be required
3. The location of the event (or if you wish us to choose a location)
Fee
The fee is $375.00, plus a travel fee is applicable. We require a $180 deposit plus GST of which $80.00 is non-refundable. Our office will issue you a receipt after receiving the deposit.
Sometime prior to your wedding usually with one month, an officiant will elisabery@yahoo.com you to plan your event (ceremony). It is requested that you have your marriage license with you if the meeting is in person or that if all your meetings are online that you inform the officiant that you have procured your marriage license. The balance of your fees are due twenty-one days prior to your event.
The Day of Your Wedding
Your officiant will arrive approximately twenty minutes prior to the ceremony. Please make sure your marriage ceremony starts on time as the presence of your officiant is scheduled and will not be able to stay due to other commitments. Your marriage license must be given to the officiant BEFORE the wedding ceremony.
After your ceremony, you will given a Record of Solemnization of your Marriage. The officiant will immediately mail the Form 7 section of your marriage license to the Registrar General to officially record your marriage.
Eight Weeks after your wedding ceremony, a formal Certificate of Marriage from the Registrar General in Ontario may be applied for. A non official marriage certificate will be given to you from the officiant on your wedding day.
